Keith Munnings
Keith Munnings brings a diverse and accomplished background to his role, blending academic expertise with spiritual practice. He holds a BSc in Science and Technology from the University of Manchester (1969-1973), a PGCE from the University of Bolton (1977-1979), and an MTh in Chaplaincy Studies with distinction from the University of Cardiff (2011-2015).
His career in education spans over four decades, teaching Mathematics and Physics in secondary schools from 1975 until his retirement in 2018, including a tenure as College Principal of a Private Tutorial College (1995-2000).
Alongside his academic pursuits, Keith has been deeply involved in Buddhist meditation since 1973, becoming a teacher of Samatha Meditation in 1976 and leading retreats in the UK and Sri Lanka. In 2009, he became a Buddhist Chaplain, working in hospitals and universities. Keith continues to teach meditation classes and dhamma groups, and has long been involved in book and journal publishing and distribution, showcasing his commitment to both education and spiritual growth.
